Pure Tea: more than a cup of tea
Pure Tea is a brand we are proud to stand behind. It connects people, flavours and cultures by making the personal stories of the tea farmers and staff visible in every blend.
Every tea in this line carries a name – not a marketing name, but the name of someone whose care and dedication are at the origin of what you taste.
Sometimes powerful and black, sometimes fresh and green. Then again gently spicy or distinctly fruity. With Pure Tea, you invite your guests on a tasteful journey, full of character and nuance.
The tea bags are handcrafted and designed to flavour up to 0.4 litres of tea – perfect for a pot or large glass. For those who prefer to work with loose tea, there is our coarse-leaf premium tea in a reusable and stylish canister. Whatever you choose, Pure Tea guarantees quality and appearance.

Tea with a story
Behind every Pure Tea blend is a face, a memory or a tradition.
We believe that real tea is not just made from leaves, but from people – from moments that last.
Below we introduce some of our friends, whose stories have inspired the blends in our collection.
Jinjin – Mango Lu Dao
Jinjin grew up in a small Chinese village. When she was five, she tasted a juicy, ripe mango for the first time – a moment that forever defined her love for this aromatic fruit. To this day, fellow villagers regularly bring her a fresh mango. Like many in her village, Jinjin also shares a passion for green tea. The blend that bears her name unites those two passions: a fresh, slightly bitter green tea, refined with the exotic fruitiness of ripe mango.
Yanzhou – Wulu China
For Yanzhou, son of a tea farmer, Wulu China means more than just flavour – it is a sense of home. Each cup reminds him of sunny springs when the family hand-picked the young tea leaves together. He still travels back to his native region every spring to help harvest. And you can taste it: his tea is floral, fresh, fruity – and purely hand-picked.
Lizzy – English Breakfast
Lizzy is a true British lady with a weakness for traditions. Whether she is pruning roses in the garden with her husband or presenting herself at Ascot in her best hat, she never lets one thing slip: a good breakfast with a full cup of English tea. The blend that bears her name, is hearty, classic and ideal with a splash of milk – an ode to English breakfast culture.
Annemarie – Berries Vanilla
In northern Germany, redcurrant jelly is a popular dessert. Every household has its secret recipe – including Annemarie’s. Her version is fruity, slightly sweet and a touch sour, just like the infusion that bears her name. A rich blend of red fruits with the gentle rounding of vanilla – perfect for any time of day.
Aman – Darjeeling
For Aman, Darjeeling is not just any tea, but a dream of a first pick. He grew up in Darjeeling’s eastern valley, at an altitude between 820 and 1650 metres. His family manages one of the most famous tea gardens in the region: Tumsong. Proudly preserving the tradition of the Chinese tea bush (sinensis), Aman ensures that each leaf is hand-picked during the first days of spring. The tea that bears its name is bright yellow, floral and sparkling – and carries the promise of spring.
Flavours with a soul
Pure Tea’s collection consists of fourteen unique tea friends – each with its own character, flavour and story.
Available in both tea bags and loose tea.
